KAY FIT was founded on a simple belief: our bodies are a gift from God, and caring for them allows us to live healthier, stronger lives while serving others to the best of our ability. Fitness isn't about chasing perfection—it's about building confidence, creating healthy habits, and becoming the person God has called you to be.
My journey began with a passion for both health and helping people. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, spending five years in the physical therapy field working alongside patients as they recovered from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Combined with more than a decade of strength training and personal fitness experience, I created KAY FIT to provide personalized coaching rooted in education, encouragement, and genuine care.
One of my favorite parts of KAY FIT is getting to share this journey with my sister. Together, we'll be helping women reach their goals through personal training and motivating group fitness classes. She brings years of experience as a group fitness instructor at Life Time and spent three seasons as a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader, where she developed a passion for motivating others through movement, energy, and community. Together, we're committed to creating a welcoming environment where people of all fitness levels feel encouraged, supported, and challenged.
Whether you're just beginning your fitness journey or striving for your next goal, our mission is to walk alongside you every step of the way. At KAY FIT, you're more than a client—you're part of a community that believes in hard work, lasting change, and honoring God by becoming stronger in both body and mind.
Our Story
Our mission is to inspire women to pursue healthier lives by building stronger bodies, stronger minds, and stronger faith. Rooted in Christian values, we strive to create a welcoming and uplifting community where every woman feels supported, encouraged, and empowered.

Kayla Mickler
I'm the owner of KAY FIT, and I'm passionate about helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident—both physically and mentally.
My journey into fitness is built on a foundation of education, healthcare, and a genuine desire to help others. I earned my Associate of Arts degree before completing my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Concordia University, St. Paul. I then returned to school to earn my Associate of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. After spending five years working in the physical therapy field, I developed a deep understanding of movement, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the importance of individualized care.
Fitness has also been a personal passion of mine for over 10 years. Throughout my own journey, I've learned that lasting results come from consistency, proper guidance, and building sustainable habits—not quick fixes.
At KAY FIT, my goal is to create a welcoming environment where people of all fitness levels feel supported, encouraged, and challenged to become the strongest version of themselves. Every training program is personalized to fit your goals, whether you're looking to lose weight, build strength, improve athletic performance, or simply feel healthier in everyday life.
As a Christian-owned business, I believe our bodies are a gift and that caring for our health allows us to better serve others.

I'm excited to be part of the KAY FIT team and help create a fun, supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to move, grow, and reach their goals.
Fitness has been a part of my life for years. As a former Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader for three seasons, I developed a passion for health, discipline, and staying active. Since then, I've continued that passion by leading group fitness classes at Life Time, where I've enjoyed helping people of all fitness levels feel stronger, more confident, and excited to work out.
One of the biggest blessings in my life was welcoming my son in May of 2026. Becoming a mom has given me an even greater appreciation for the importance of caring for our bodies, finding balance, and prioritizing our health through every season of life. It has strengthened my passion for helping others create sustainable habits that fit into real life, because I know firsthand that fitness isn't about perfection—it's about showing up consistently and becoming the healthiest version of yourself. As a new mom, I also understand that finding time for fitness can be challenging, which is why you may even see my little sidekick joining me at some classes.
Whether you're new to fitness or looking for your next challenge, I can't wait to help you build strength, gain confidence, and enjoy the journey alongside our KAY FIT community!
